AVP/VP, Data Platform and Management - Bank Industry (HK$60 K – $70 K) (Ref. No.: 25375)Our client, a Leading Consumer Bank, is looking for a high-caliber person to fill the position. Job Duties Data Platform: Responsible for successful delivery of new high priority data related projects on key data platforms like IMH, DEP, Tableau, and SAS. Accountable for overall management and continuous improvement of key data platforms, including data model enhancement, predictive model building/optimization/deployment, and operation model improvement. Maintain BAU data platform, including performance monitoring, security control, licensing renewals, UAT management, and change request review. Data Management: Collaborate with the Information Technology Team data office and relevant Banking Team data owners in defining and delivering a best-in-class data management implementation framework. Accountable for successful delivery of new data policy/guideline implementation in Personal & Business Banking Team. Perform all relevant activities covered by the relevant Banking Team data risk management policy and standard. Incorporate regulatory change implementation into relevant project frameworks for all data-related regulations and ensure processes and procedures are in place to meet the requirements. Promote awareness of data culture across relevant Banking Team, including conducting data-related training and communication campaigns. Job Requirements Degree or above in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, or relevant disciplines. Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in data analytics, data-driven campaigns, data governance, data mining, statistical modeling, predictive analytics, next-to-buy model, machine learning, and/or data science-related work. Proven track record of success in delivering desired program/project management outcomes, preferably in the banking/financial services industry. Proficiency in key data technologies such as SAS, SAS EM, Tableau, Cloudera. Proficiency in Python, R, or other statistical/data science languages is a plus. Big Data development experience (e.g., Hive, Spark) and knowledge of Python and analytics libraries will be an advantage. Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese; Putonghua is a plus.
