Business Analyst – Equity Trading Systems We are seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in equity trading systems to support the implementation and enhancement of trading and research solutions. The role requires close collaboration with front and middle office users, translating business needs into functional specifications, coordinating with technical teams, and supporting testing and project delivery in a fast-paced trading environment. Responsibilities: Gather and document requirements for equity trading and research systems. Propose high-level solutions and collaborate with development teams on design and implementation. Assist in preparing test cases, reviewing results, and coordinating user acceptance testing. Monitor project risks and issues, providing updates to the project manager. Analyze business performance data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities. Support system enhancements to ensure alignment with business needs. Report project status regularly to stakeholders and senior management. Facilitate communication between business and technical teams. Qualifications: Degree in Computer Science or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in equity trading systems (OMS/EMS) and exchange connectivity. Knowledge of UL Bridge and Sybase is a plus. Solid understanding of equity markets, especially in Asia, and EMS/OMS workflows. Experience in trading support and familiarity with FIX protocol, SQL, Excel, and Linux. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; Cantonese, Mandarin, or Japanese is a plus. Prior experience in investment banking or securities trading environment preferred. Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or in a team.
