Key Responsibilities: Define and propose organizational risk tolerance frameworks, formulate credit strategies, and present recommendations to senior governance committees for evaluation and endorsement. Oversee the development and maintenance of all risk-related policies, ensuring periodic reviews and updates are conducted. Lead enterprise-wide risk management functions (Credit, Market/Liquidity, Operational) and collaborate with internal stakeholders to: Design and implement standardized risk management protocols. Generate analytical reports to assess risk exposure. Establish approval workflows and risk mitigation guidelines. Render credit decisions within delegated authority and escalate high-impact approvals to senior committees as needed. Monitor and optimize the institution’s credit and investment portfolios. Evaluate proposed products and strategic initiatives to identify potential impacts on risk profiles and financial exposure. Chair governance forums to assess organizational risks and refine risk management frameworks. Lead credit oversight committees to ensure alignment with risk objectives. Prepare reports and serve as secretary to senior governance committees focused on risk and compliance. Support executive leadership in enterprise-wide risk governance and liaise with financial regulators on compliance matters. Undertake additional duties as directed by executive leadership. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related fields; advanced certifications (e.g., CPA, CFA) preferred.15+ years of progressive experience in risk management within financial services, including prior credit approval authority. Proven track record of engagement with regulators, auditors, and familiarity with regional financial regulations. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to navigate complex discussions among senior stakeholders. Demonstrated success in managing cross-functional teams and driving strategic outcomes. Fluency in English and Mandarin.
