Job Title: Cloud Solutions Architect (Pre-sales)Job Description: MEGAZONE CLOUD is seeking a Cloud Solutions Architect (Pre-sales) to lead cloud strategy, architecture, and deployment initiatives for enterprise customers in Hong Kong. This is a key technical role in the founding team of our Hong Kong business, responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud solutions. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in cloud infrastructure, extensive hands-on experience in cloud engineering, and a strong ability to drive enterprise cloud adoption. You will collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the seamless deployment and operation of cloud-based environments. This role reports to the Head of Hong Kong Business and involves close interaction with MEGAZONE CLOUD's regional and global teams. What you will do Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud infrastructures. Lead cloud migration and modernization projects, ensuring best practices in performance, security, and compliance. Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) tools such as Terraform and AWS Cloud Formation. Provide consultation and manage stakeholders at the C-suite level. Deployment & Operations Manage the full lifecycle of cloud environments, including deployment, monitoring, troubleshooting, and documentation. Develop CI/CD pipelines to streamline application deployments and updates. Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies are in place. Security & Compliance Implement cloud security best practices, including IAM, encryption, and network security. Support compliance with industry standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, and CIS benchmarks. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful cloud project execution. Mentor junior engineers and conduct technical enablement sessions for internal teams. Basic Qualifications10+ years of experience in Solutions Architecture, IT infrastructure, cloud engineering, or cloud operations.5+ years of hands-on experience in public cloud (AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or GCP) including compute, storage, networking, and security services. Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Ia C) tools: Terraform, AWS Cloud Formation, AWS CDK, or Pulumi. Strong experience in cloud networking, VPC design, VPNs, and hybrid cloud architectures. Hands-on experience with containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes). Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI/CD). Strong scripting/programming skills in Python, Go, or Bash. Excellent communication skills in Cantonese and English. Preferred Qualifications AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or equivalent Azure/GCP certification. Hands-on experience with serverless computing (AWS Lambda, Azure Functions, Google Cloud Functions). Experience working in regulated industries (finance, healthcare, telecom) with strict compliance requirements. Familiarity with cloud financial management and cost optimization strategies (Fin Ops). Active Linked In and Git Hub/Git Lab profile showcasing technical contributions.
