Control & Business Analyst (HK$35 K - $45 K) (Ref. No.: 26447)Our client, an Investment Bank, is looking for a high-caliber person to fill the position. Job Duties To follow the day-to-day activities as part of Sell Side Operations mission, including but not limited to: implementing the tasks according to the bank’s Group procedures; monitoring the Sell Side Operation mailbox during APAC hours, answering questions from the sell side (brokers). To support the point of contact (SPOC) of broker relations from onboarding and maintenance (to managing recurring issues, local specific requirements (ex: market APAC specificities broker requirement) and escalations from & towards the broker community. To support the checks on the brokers newly authorized to ensure their coverage regarding the Know Your Broker policy (KYB), and perform the recertification assigned in due time. To support the SPOC for any matter regarding KYC for the broker community, in collecting the necessary information regarding the bank entities in order to fulfill the brokers/ counterparties’ Know Your Client (“KYC”) requirement. To support the onboarding of the bank’s new portfolios with the brokers. To participate in the calls organized by the Project Owner leading the portfolio creation project and complete the tasks according to the workflow designed in FLOWR (opening of the credit lines (for OTC/FOREX asset classes) with the counterparties, communicating the necessary information to the counterparties (prospectus, NAV…), implementing the broker authorizations). To support the database maintenance (COSMOS) and ensure continuity in the static tasks (Broker referential, contact list, authorizations). To support the preparation for the service reviews with the brokers and follow up on items logged, ongoing projects, and service enhancements. To help to monitor the level of service delivered by the brokers from a qualitative (scorecards) and quantitative (KPI) point of view. Job Requirements Qualifications: At least University Bachelor degree holder or equivalent qualification, ideally with a financial orientation. Experience: An operational experience in Asset Management or Asset Servicing Company should be a must.
