Data Management Manager / FS/ 30k HKD P/M12 month extendable contract(Business Analyst Data Management experience)An international financial institution is seeking a Data Management Manager to support the delivery and enhancement of key control outcomes across regulatory reporting processes.
This role plays a critical part in ensuring robust data, reporting, and infrastructure controls are in place to meet evolving regulatory standards.
The position is based in Hong Kong and sits within a growing risk and compliance environment.
Role Purpose The successful candidate will help drive the implementation of data, reporting, and infrastructure controls across downstream regulatory reporting processes.
You will work closely with global and regional teams to support control assessments, remediate data-quality issues, and enhance reporting integrity.
Principal Responsibilities Collaborate with global, regional, and local project teams, IT, and functional stakeholders to implement data usage controls and remediation initiatives.
Analyse processes, data flows, and sourcing; work with process and data owners to manage data quality profiling and issue resolution.
Ensure all deliverables comply with internal data governance and reporting policies.
Provide regular updates, highlight risks, and escalate issues to senior stakeholders where required.
Support data management activities across risk-related functions.
Requirements3+ years' experience in business analysis, data management, project management, or risk management within financial services.
Bachelor's degree in business, information systems, or a related discipline.
Knowledge of financial systems, data processes, or regulatory reporting is a strong advantage.
Must have communication skills in English and Chinese , with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels across multiple regions.
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to interpret and assess complex data, processes, and high-volume information sets.
