Development Lead / Senior Development Engineer (Core Banking – Open Platform)Job No.: 498569 Employment Type: Full time Departments: Information Technology Department Job Functions: Information Technology Responsibilities: Responsible for system design, development and support of the application systems under Core Banking domains, including Current / Saving / Deposit / Loan Banking Transaction, Interest Rate Management, Limit Control, Voucher Management, Statement Management, Workflow Management, Enterprise Content Management, etc. Manage project processes, documentation, progress reporting, status meeting and escalation effectively. Lead, manage and implement IT projects to ensure the timeliness and quality of deliverables. Work closely with users and vendors for system requirement analysis, effort estimation, design, development, implementation and testing on banking project. Troubleshoot problems and propose recommendations to resolve issues, and liaise with developers on fixing and resolving technical issues. Liaison and coordinate effectively with both internal and external parties for system integration design. Requirements: Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology or related disciplines. At least 5 years of application development experience with a minimum of 2 years of team leading on implementation. Candidates with less relevant experience would be considered as Senior Development Engineer. Hands-on experience in “Web Application Development” with the following technologies, tools or related areas: Java, J2 SE, J2 EE, MVC Framework (E.g. Spring MVC, Struts 2, etc.)Java Script, SQLOracle DB, My SQL DB, IBM DB2 Optional but is a plus: MQ, IBM Web Sphere, Unix / Linux, Shell Scripts Experience in product solutions related to Workflow Management and Content Management (E.g. EMC / Open Text Documentum, etc.) is a plus. Experience with transformation, migration or downsizing from Mainframe applications to Open applications (E.g.
