The Opportunity
Arup’s Energy Infrastructure business in East Asia is experiencing rapid growth, based in Hong Kong. We provide planning, design, and engineering services for energy projects including power plants, offshore LNG terminals, gas stations, and offshore wind farms. Our team offers multidisciplinary design, construction management, and project management services from inception to operation. We seek capable, independent individuals to join our energetic team.
Responsibilities

Assist the project team with all aspects of geotechnical engineering design
Provide technical input for geotechnical design and consulting
Coordinate with project team members, clients, government agencies, and stakeholders
Assist in technical proposal preparation, tender documents, and assessments
Conduct project research as required

Qualifications and Experiences Required

Degree in civil engineering; post-graduate degree is an advantage
Membership of relevant professional institutions
At least 3 years of post-graduation experience for Engineer; at least 1 year post-chartered for Project Engineer
Proficiency in IT tools, including engineering software
Interest in digital engineering; proficiency in Python scripting or Grasshopper visual programming is an advantage
Strong team player with good interpersonal, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Self-motivated with high drive for achievement
Fluent in English and Chinese (written and spoken)
