Tax - (HK Tax Advisory) - Global Compliance and Reporting - Senior Associate/Manager- Hong Kong
Our tax practice revolves around helping our clients effectively manage their tax obligations proactively and responsibly. As part of a global team of 35,000 tax professionals in 150 countries, you will advise clients on planning, compliance and reporting wherever the client has needs. Your key responsibilities

Make technical contributions to business tax compliance and tax advisory engagements.
Establish, maintain and strengthen internal and external relationships.
Prepare or review income tax returns for complex organizations in diverse and specialized industries.
Identify tax savings and risk reducing opportunities for consideration and implementation.
Prepare or review the statutory accounts for a domestic or foreign client.
Prepare estimated tax liabilities to assist the client in meeting its tax payment obligations.

Participate in business tax compliance and tax advisory engagements.
Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on progress.
Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to clients and other parties.
Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client personnel.
Build strong internal relationships within the business tax compliance team and across other services.

To qualify for the role you must have

A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field (MBA, Masters of Tax and LLM a plus) with strong academic credentials.
A minimum of 2 years of Hong Kong corporate tax experience gained from the financial industry or public accounting firm is desirable.
Professional accountancy qualification or working towards gaining one.
Strong negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challenges.
Team player with ability to create, sustain and lead effective teams.
Fluent English and Cantonese, Mandarin will be an advantage.
