Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification Billings Generate draft bill in accordance with fee earner agreed fee and disbursement arrangements for review Provide support for billing reprint, write off and issuing receipts Assist to ensure all pending draft bills for partner's approval must be signed and bill posted before month end close Perform anticipated disbursement entries for review Assist to produce WIP report and perform follow action, including prebill write off, prepare draft bill, time transfer Assist Finance Support Executive and work closely with secretaries and attorneys for billing requirements Knowledge of time details billing and fixed fee summary billing arrangements, in particular timekeeper narratives and other billing requirements Provide support for matter and bill rates system input and update Perform proper document filing and archiving Accounts Receivable and Retainers Support day-to-day cash receipts bookings, allocation and send notification to relevant parties Post all cash receipts entries into the system before end of day Update and maintain retainer log on timely basis Assist Finance Support Executive to perform e-billing, including rates card update in various e-billing platforms, monitoring and resolving e-billing process from bill upload to payment receipt Perform proper document filing and archiving and other ad hoc tasks Accounts Payable Post third party invoice as per requested by business for review Post check entry upon supplier invoice settlement and notify relevant parties upon payment settlement Assist staff reimbursement submission approval process Support monthly payment run process to ensure all accounts payables are cleared timely Handle petty cash transactions, including post check entry and perform monthly reconciliation Perform proper document filing and archiving and other ad hoc tasks Education, Skills & Experience2-3 years of relevant experience in Law/Professional firm and a proven track record in Accounting/Finance functions preferred Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills Sense of urgency and ability to work in fast paced office environment and under pressure Agile, proactive and deadline focused with the ability to prioritize tasks and deliver accurate results Attention to details, methodical and well organized with strong computer skills, including an advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel Knowledge of Aderant Expert is a plus and other related accounting systems Fluency in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is a must Walkers global is an equal opportunity employer.
