Head of Payment & Operations | Fin Tech, Global Payment | HK$1-1.2 M per annum About Your Company: Our client, a forward-thinking leader in the fintech space, is seeking an accomplished Head of Payment & Operations to join their dynamic team. This pivotal role focuses on enhancing the organization’s payment solutions and ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards, all while driving innovative strategies. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing and refining payment capabilities that align with cutting-edge industry practices, fostering a culture of creativity and accountability throughout the organization. Job Responsibilities: Design and implement a comprehensive global payment strategy that prioritizes security, scalability, and compliance with international standards, tailored to the unique needs of the fintech industry. Cultivate and manage strategic alliances with global payment processors, banks, and blockchain networks to strengthen payment channels and facilitate efficient cross-border transactions. Oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of payment products, from concept and launch to ongoing enhancements, ensuring adaptability to market demands and continuous improvement based on user feedback. Leverage data analytics to shape product and operational strategies, optimize transaction processes, and identify growth opportunities. Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess success. Ensure compliance with global regulations by proactively addressing changes in requirements and collaborating with legal teams to guarantee that payment products meet local and international standards. Mentor and develop a high-performing team, promoting a culture of innovation and accountability. Provide ongoing training to keep the team updated on industry trends and best practices. Assess and manage risks associated with payment processing, integrating compliance into all workflows to mitigate emerging threats effectively. Job Requirements: Minimum of 10 years experience in product management within financial services, payments, or fintech, with a strong focus on global payment systems, particularly in innovative sectors like cryptocurrency or digital assets. Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Information Technology or Business; advanced degrees or certifications in finance, blockchain, or compliance are advantageous. Demonstrated success in managing large-scale payment ecosystems and developing strategic partnerships that facilitate cross-border capabilities. Comprehensive understanding of payment processing systems, including digital wallets and blockchain technologies. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external stakeholders. Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, capable of interpreting complex data and making informed decisions. Proven experience in leading high-impact teams, with a track record of driving product success in diverse and challenging environments. Industry background in Payment Service Providers (PSP) or with connections is a PLUS. A proactive personality with a drive to identify opportunities and implement solutions.
