Head of Tax About the Role Reporting to the CFO, you will be responsible for performing an all-rounded tax role for the global business. You will oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns and related documents. You will ensure compliance with tax laws and regulations at all levels. You will develop and maintain effective transfer pricing policies that align with global standards and business goals. You will create and implement strategies to minimize tax liabilities and enhance financial efficiency. You will respond to tax authority inquiries. You will keep track of tax law changes and conduct tax research. You will provide tax guidance to other departments and senior management. You will manage relationships with external tax advisors, auditors, and regulatory bodies. Last but not least, you will take up any adhoc tax projects as required. The Successful Applicant Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent. At least 10 years of experience from Big 4 and sizable MNC/ blue-chip companies. China and international tax experience is required. All-rounded tax skillsets covering areas such as tax compliance, tax planning, tax due diligence, and transfer pricing. Independent, resourceful, able to multi-task and work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Fluent in English, Mandarin, and Cantonese. Immediately available is an advantage.
