Head of Technology Strategy & Planning, APACThe Liberty International Insurance (LII) APAC Technology Head of Strategy and Planning is responsible for setting the overall strategic direction for the APAC Technology organization; leading strategic transformational initiatives; driving the Tech innovation and process excellence strategy; and quarterbacking the planning, budgeting, and spend governance. About the Department & Team: The APAC Technology Strategy and Planning team is at the forefront of setting up our Regional Technology Strategy, driving our strategic initiatives, and establishing our overarching governance and measurement strategy. As the quarterbacks of the Technology financial planning process, the Strategy & Planning team leads our efforts to ensure each dollar of IT spend enables us to drive towards our organization aspiration and drives our innovation and process excellence strategy to eliminate inefficiencies and mitigate risk. Key Responsibilities: APAC Tech and Strategic Direction: Set overall strategic direction for APAC, lead strategic business, financial planning and tech innovation strategy for the region, support global-led transformation and special projects. Lead the special projects in the region, from strategy to execution, by influencing key regional and in-market leadership teams. Talent and Innovation Strategy: Drive the development of talent capability roadmaps to support business growth and strategic objectives. Centralized Governance: Lead harmonized and centralized governance for management of vendors and talent performance, drive process excellence across APAC Tech functions. Tech Cost Optimization: Provide effective leadership to drive optimization and reduction of Tech costs through spend governance, streamlined budgeting and transparent reporting. Lead a team of specialists and set overall strategic direction for Tech, lead planning, budgeting and spend governance. Skills and Experience: At least 10 years of experience in leading successful transformative projects. Experience leading and influencing business and technology leaders across the globe. Candidate has an eye for detail, and willing to get hands-on to drive execution for the critical transformative programs in the region. Experience in general insurance, preferably across the value chain.
