Job Description
We give you a world of potential. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a full-time permanent role that will prepare you for a future career with Computershare! Our Counter Services team is currently looking for an Investor Counter Officer to join the team based at Hopewell Centre, Wanchai.
A role you will love
This role requires great attention to detail. You will be the main contact point with shareholders from different issuers, assisting in the collection or dispatching of share certificates, dividend cheques, transfer documents, and other shareholder and corporate communications. You will also issue counter transfer receipts and check documents and forms.
You will participate in projects aimed at improving business processes and will have opportunities to work with different stakeholders, drive efficiency, and stay updated on changes in the stock market related to uncertificated security handling. Our goal is to deliver professional transfer services and respond to shareholder inquiries as needed.
Key responsibilities include:

Providing assistance with issuing transfer receipts and verifying necessary documents.
Maintaining high service standards in handling inquiries promptly and professionally.
Collaborating with support teams to deliver transfer services.
Supporting ad-hoc assignments as required.
Receiving dealing instructions from listed clients and coordinating execution with internal teams.

What you will bring to the role
You should be a secondary school graduate with basic knowledge of the Hong Kong stock markets. Experience in customer service is valuable. You should be detail-oriented, self-motivated, organized, and possess good communication skills in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
