The team Schroders' Multi-Asset team provides investors with a unique opportunity to utilise the expertise of over 140 dedicated investment professionals across 9 locations globally and diversify their investments in a wide-range of assets, regions and strategies. The Multi-Asset team designs, implements and manages outcome-based solutions with our clients’ needs in mind. Location This role is based in Hong Kong. What You'll Do Portfolio Management Take responsibility for the daily management and implementation of specific multi-asset portfolios Implement specific trade ideas and model trades for portfolios in line with the multi-asset team’s investment views and ensure consistency across accounts for implementation results Understand clearly client-specific objectives and restrictions to adjust asset allocation and security selection as required (i.e., non-benchmark objectives such as absolute or peer performance), while ensuring all compliance and regulatory requirements are met Participate in global and local meetings to discuss portfolio positioning and involve in development and maintenance of framework to improve portfolio construction and diversification in different investment and market environments Global Research and Investment Process Conduct fundamental and quantitative research into different risk premia Participate in global and local asset allocation meetings and contribute to trade ideas and views generation Join one or more risk premium research teams within the Strategic Investments Group – Multi-Asset (SIGMA), our research platform Generate trade idea recommendations for the Global Asset Allocation Committee (GAAC)Client Support Represent Schroder Multi Asset in Asia internally and externally Serve as an investment point of contact in assisting Product and Client Group with client reviews and inquiries Explain the investment philosophy, process and portfolio performance; attend presentations including review meeting as requested Assist in the development and design of new solutions The Skills, Experience And Knowledge That You'll Need Bachelor degree in Economics, Finance or Business; CFA or advanced degree (or equivalent)Minimum 15 years’ industry experience including at least 10 years in Multi-Asset or Global Macro investments as a Portfolio Manager Experience in the portfolio construction / asset allocation process Experience with regulatory framework across Asian countries What You'll Be Like Excellent reasoning and analytical ability Attention to details Good at communicating in multi-cultural settings, both in writing and speaking Desire to work in a team-oriented environment A self-starter We Recognise Potential, Whoever You Are Our purpose is to provide excellent investment performance to clients through active management.
