Role Overview As the Head of Investment, you will play a critical role in shaping our client’s product strategy, expanding their market presence, and ensuring operational excellence. As the first leader in the Hong Kong office, you will also be responsible for building and leading a high-performing team to drive regional growth. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven track record in finance, product development, regulatory compliance, and team leadership, combined with strong technical expertise. Core Responsibilities Product Strategy & Regulatory Compliance Lead the development of standardized products, including Fixed Income, AI Quantitative FOF, and ESG Public Fund, overseeing SFC filing procedures. Design compliant frameworks for Bitcoin/ETH spot custody services, ensuring alignment with Hong Kong Monetary Authority regulations and global standards. Market Expansion & Client Acquisition Secure strategic partnerships with institutional clients, such as insurance AMCs and wealth offices, through innovative “Cross-Border Bonds + Offshore Trust” solutions, delivering at least one landmark case. Drive retail client growth by promoting investment products via robo-advisor platforms. Technology & Operational Excellence Develop credit spread prediction models and momentum strategy backtesting systems using Python/Tensor Flow, delivering detailed and actionable reports. Create a client risk profiling system paired with tailored asset allocation solutions to enhance client servicing and satisfaction. Ecosystem Collaboration & Brand Building Facilitate ETF distribution partnerships with globally recognized asset managers to strengthen market presence. Organize high-impact events and publish thought leadership content to elevate the firm’s brand in the industry. Establish and lead a high-performing team in the Hong Kong office by recruiting, mentoring, and developing talent to support the firm’s regional growth objectives. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture aligned with the firm’s vision and values. Qualifications Experience: Minimum of 8 years in finance, with at least 5 years in product development or entrepreneurship, and a proven track record of launching products with significant AUM. Licenses: Hong Kong SFC License 4 (Securities Trading) and License 9 (Asset Management) preferred. Performance: Managed significant AUM in the past 3 years, achieving strong returns. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python/Tensor Flow for quantitative modeling, with the ability to provide backtesting code and performance reports. Productization: Launch secondary market products (e.g., hedge funds) with auditable documentation. Regulatory Innovation: Design “Consulting + Asset Management” models within License 4/9 constraints.
