Key Responsibility Areas: Business-IT Bridging: Act as the primary translator between business stakeholders (traders, sales, ops) and technical teams. Gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements. Map existing and future business processes. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Work closely with various departments (Trading, Sales, Operations, IT Dev/Infra). Ensure strong alignment with business owners/users, project teams, and external vendors. Solution Design & Implementation: Design robust IT solutions tailored to meet specific business needs in Execution Services. Leverage technical knowledge (Java, SQL, Linux, FIX, Chronicle) in solution design. Oversee the technical delivery by development teams. Project Management: Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and timelines. Monitor project progress, manage risks, and provide regular updates to management. Technical Execution & Operations: Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Dev Ops focus). Support application enhancement projects and ongoing maintenance. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to trading applications and connectivity. Critical Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in IT, Comp Sci, Business Admin, or related field. Experience: 8-10 years in roles combining IT Business Analysis and Solution Leadership. Domain Expertise (Non-Negotiable): In-depth knowledge of: Equities High Touch Trading (Sales Trading, Block Trading, complex orders). Market Connectivity (Exchange Feeds, OMS/EMS connectivity, FIX infrastructure). Technical Knowledge (Must-Have): Java: Core development language for trading systems. SQL: Database querying and manipulation. Linux: Primary OS for trading servers and infrastructure. FIX Protocol: Essential electronic trading messaging standard. Chronicle Queue: High-performance, low-latency messaging library (critical for real-time trading). Skills: Strong Analytical & Problem-Solving: Essential for complex trading system issues. Excellent Communication & Interpersonal: Vital for bridging business and tech. Teamwork & Independence: Ability to lead and work within teams or autonomously.
