VP Risk Management - Business Continuity (56310) Hong Kong Island, Hong Kong VP Risk Management – Business Continuity Our client is one of the leading Chinese funded investment banks in Hong Kong. They are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Continuity professional to join their team, playing a pivotal role in maintaining the safety and soundness of the business operations. About the Role: The role involves developing and articulating strategies and objectives for Business Continuity and Crisis Management Plans. This includes working closely with business units and BCM coordinators to establish BCP and Crisis Management framework policies and procedures, ensuring implementation firm-wide, including overseas offices and third-party service providers. Additionally, the position requires designing and implementing recovery and response procedures for business continuity and crisis management scenarios, providing guidance to business units on various aspects of business continuity management, and coordinating BCP drills and contingency scenario rehearsals. The individual will also assess incident impacts, take immediate action to address any disruptions, and monitor the implementation of BCP and Crisis Management plans while providing regular reports to Management and Head Office. Furthermore, conducting training on BCP/Crisis Management procedures to increase staff risk awareness is also a key responsibility. Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree or equivalent. Qualified in PMP, DRII, BCI is preferred.3 – 5 years of experience in investment banking or risk management. Knowledge of regulatory requirements from HKMA and SFC. Experience in business continuity management and crisis management will be an advantage. Proficient in both written and spoken English and Chinese, including Mandarin. Possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, and be a self-motivated individual with a strong sense of ownership.
