We now invite applications for the following position: Investment Data Analyst Responsibilities Work with investment analysts to identify internal or external data sources/datasets relevant to meeting specific objectives. Work closely with data engineers to structure web scraping projects and produce highly calibrated signals that are relevant for investment. Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and discover insights that support investment theses. Prepare datasets for analysis based on the original data. Implement appropriate solutions (e.g., dashboards, statistical models) to address the objectives. Maintain an inventory of the data estate to ensure data-related requirements are captured and delivered. Requirements4+ years of experience as a data analyst, with prior experience in major e-commerce, telecommunications, and social media technology companies. The candidate will be highly comfortable performing analytics on massive databases. Candidates with significant experience utilizing web-scraped data are highly preferable.4+ years of experience using Python and Jupyter Notebook, SQL and No SQL databases, and Tableau. Knowledge of research frameworks (R, Sci Kit, Py Spark) is required. Working knowledge in Microsoft Excel. Advanced knowledge in probability and statistics is required. Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Physics, or Engineering.
