Here, we’re committed to building a more diverse and inclusive workforce. Not only is it our responsibility to do better, but we also need representative voices to power the fresh thinking that is vital for our business and our clients.
What We Offer
This is a permanent full-time role based in Hong Kong following a hybrid work model setup (at least 2 in office days per week).
You can expect an autonomous but fast-paced work environment where you are recognized for your results and ability to drive things forward. Every day brings many opportunities to learn & grow and rewards with a global impact we create.
In return, you will receive private health insurance, employee stock purchase plan, equity grant, global mentoring program, free counseling sessions, subscription to e-learning platforms, fitness, wellness and more.
What You Will Do
The primary goal of Nasdaq Investment Intelligence is to transform the institutional investment industry through data, insights and innovative technologies. Our environment is fun, smart, and energetic. We hire self-motivated people and provide them with exceptional opportunities for development through on-the-job learning. We understand the critical work-life balance needed for success doesn’t stop inside our walls.
The Sales Director will drive new business growth by aggressively promoting and selling Nasdaq’s Analytics Solutions (including the Nasdaq e Vestment platform) to Asset Managers, Asset Owners, and Investment Consultants in Japan and additional markets. With APAC as a focus for company growth, this will be a visible role internally, requiring excellent collaboration with a broad group of team members across the organization, including global leadership. Your direct feedback will inform internal stakeholders regarding resources needed to maintain success in the market.
You will be accountable for implementing the right sales processes and procedures as the company looks toward significant growth in the APAC institutional investment market. You will have accountability growing the business and will work with internal stakeholders to develop effective marketing campaigns, suggest insightful content relevant for the marketplace and ultimately reach established sales objectives.
This highly visible role is ideal for a motivated individual who enjoys making presentations and sales calls to key decision-makers (senior leadership, C-level) as well as mid-tier associates with a proven ability to read an audience and build trust, confidence, and credibility among strategic partners and prospective clients. Your experience with subscription-based technology, Saa S, asset management, or investment consulting will be beneficial.
A hunter perspective and skill set is critical, as you focus on generating leads independently and following up on leads (sourced from marketing, networking, events, cold calls, etc.) to build a sustainable pipeline that delivers consistent new business. In addition to focusing on new logo acquisition, you will also be responsible to uncover, qualify, and close opportunities with new clients as well as existing clients.
You’ll work with prospects to understand their business problems and communicate how our solutions add value. Along with this, you’ll create opportunities by uncovering need / consequence / benefit through discussions with prospects. Demonstrating a deep understanding of the value propositions offered and a working knowledge of the solutions that deliver them is what will make you successful in this role.
