Responsibilities Prepare daily policy payment and operating expense payments with corresponding accounting vouchers. Follow payment authorization protocols and address vendors’ queries. Handle various administrative tasks within the Finance Operation team. Coordinate with the Operations team to resolve outstanding policy payments. Handle fund trading payments with the investment team. Serve as the primary contact for bank-related issues, including outstanding cheques and other bank-related tasks. Execute month-end closing activities, e.g., preparing and posting manual journals in a timely manner with accuracy. Assist with additional month-end closing tasks, including inter-company balance reconciliations and bank reconciliations. Work in Group self-control assessment and policy returns on a quarterly basis to ensure compliance and reduce risk. Participate in ad hoc projects and address queries from other departments and Head Office. Requirements Accounting or Finance degree holder. Degree holder is a must. Minimum 2 years of working experience in finance operations. Insurance accounting knowledge is preferred. Good communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese. Good interpersonal and communication skills are required to work with project managers, external customers such as bankers, fund houses, auditors, and Head Office. Ability to complete daily finance operations functions smoothly and timely. Ability to work independently, under pressure, and meet demanding deadlines. Good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point. Knowledge of Oracle and Life Asia is an advantage.
