You will work closely with internal stakeholders to enhance underwriting strategies, streamline processes, and ensure effective risk management. As the Function Head in developing and executing operational strategies to facilitate new product and business development, while balancing risk management and operational efficiency. Lead and manage a high-performing underwriting operations team, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless service delivery to distribution channels and stakeholders, particularly in the HNW segment. Oversee underwriting operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards. Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize workflows, improve process efficiency, and implement modernization initiatives within underwriting operations. Analyze operational data and trends to identify opportunities for performance improvement and enhanced profitability. Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, operational metrics, and key initiatives to senior management. What we look for?Degree holder with designation in FLMI is preferred; Minimum 12 years of experience in operations and underwriting, with at least 8 years in a managerial and operational leadership role. Sound knowledge of life insurance products and experienced in HNW business; Previously possess of senior underwriting authority; Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate a successful team; Good analytical and problem-solving abilities; Strong communication and interpersonal skills; Good command of English and Chinese including Putonghua; and PC literate in Win Word, Excel, Power Point and Chinese word-processing.
