The business offers many of the services customers have come to expect of Berry Bros. & Rudd worldwide including Fine Wine sales to private individuals via the telephone or online as well a full range of wines to the on trade and corporate clients. The job in a nutshell In this role, you’ll manage high-end, private customers and assist them in the building of balanced and high-quality cellars specific to their needs. Maximising sales potential and increased GP growth through relationship building, exceptional customer service and demonstration of authority in wine knowledge. Managing a portfolio of approximately 200 active accounts spending a total of £1.200,000 a year through sales of En-Primeur and physical stock. Who you will work with Internal: Customer Service Supply Chain Finance Commercial Account Managers, UKExternal: Private Customers Producers What you will do Advising customers and selling the full range of Berry Bros. & Rudd products and services to customers. Ensuring agreed sales and Gross Profit targets are met or exceeded. Ensuring regular and pro-active contact with all customers. Attending and entertaining customers at Berry Bros. & Rudd evening tastings and events. Ensuring customer’s needs are accommodated and promoting Berry Bros. & Rudd’s reputation through customer interaction. Providing comprehensive and high level after service to customers. Providing timely response to customer communication, usually by telephone or email. Offering relevant, quality advice to customers and providing comprehensive and accurate information on trading Fine Wines. Ensuring account balances and payment terms are managed, and complete payment is received for all goods sold. Converting enquiries and leads supplied into sales and long-term Berry Bros. & Rudd customers. Ensuring that all working practices comply with Health and Safety legislation. What you will bring to the role Experience / Achievements Proven track record in managing private accounts. Your Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours English: conversational (TOEIC 800 score)Sales skills Relationship building skills and development of trust Creative Proactive Passion for wine which can be translated into sales opportunities.
