Client Description: US-based MNC company Job Description: Apply analytical skills to business requests, provide research and development, customizations and programming, implementation, and education that meet the needs of the business. Following a defined project management methodology, lead or assist in the end-to-end planning, development and execution of moderate to highly complex IT and business projects. Act in the Project Planner role, help promote the PMO methodology throughout the company; act as a champion to create strong relationships and be a catalyst in leading change. Manage projects, design software, code/configure, test applications, document the project scope, and implementation. Provide oversight/direction pertaining to cross-functional integration of technology and process execution. Assist in the development of training and education of business application users. May be called upon to assist with the development of other IT resources. Provide production support. Plan, schedule and control systems projects based on relevant methodologies. Collaborate with IT resource managers, functional managers, architect managers and consultants to secure needed resources and resolve resource conflicts. Identify and proactively manage changes in scope, budget and schedule to ensure that the business value of the project is achieved. Escalate issues and risks and proactively take ownership for resolution. Track milestones and deliverables and provide regular status reporting to all levels of stakeholders (Executives, IT management, and project team members). Collaborate directly with the business to understand priorities and provide continuous feedback. Job Requirements: Master’s degree in IT or Business OR Bachelor’s degree in IT or Business plus 5 years of information technology (IT) experience. IT experience must include reporting tools, project management, and knowledge of best practices for standard process flows within one or more of the following areas: Supply Chain Management, Sales and Marketing, or Financial Systems. Thorough experience working with an ERP/OMS, Commerce Platform or Retail POS System (ideally SAP ECC, Hybris Commerce or Retail Pro) and its respective reporting tools. Experience working with a formal project management methodology such as PMI, and exposure to software development methodologies such as Iterative, Waterfall, Lean or Agile/Scrum. Knowledge of best practices for standard process flows in one or more of the following: Supply Chain Management, Sales and Marketing, Financial Systems for Consumer Retail Operations. Knowledge of project management best practices and exposure to using Agile Methodology. Troubleshooting and problem solving. Keen attention to detail and quality. Exceptional service orientation, responsiveness and follow-through. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Articulate communicator both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in Mandarin and English, both verbally and in writing. Ability to work with senior management in all business units to establish priorities and gain consensus. Travel - Project based; up to 20% in region and overseas.
