Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Risk Team Intern to support our risk management initiatives in both the crypto exchange and crypto asset management sectors.
This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in operational risk, regulatory compliance, and data analytics within a dynamic environment, with a focus on integrating AI solutions.
Key Responsibilities: AI Automation & Workflow Support: Assist in implementing and maintaining AI-assisted workflows for risk monitoring, reporting, and documentation.
Help test and validate AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with internal standards.
Policy Updates: Assist in updating and maintaining internal risk policies in line with regulatory and audit requirements, leveraging AI tools to enhance efficiency.
Operational Risk Projects: Participate in operational risk projects, including the Risk Control Self-Assessment (RCSA) process and the updating of the risk log.
Data Analytics: Support ad hoc data analytics projects to provide insights and enhance risk management practices; utilize AI models to analyze data trends and patterns.
Training Materials Preparation: Help in preparing and organizing internal risk training materials to educate staff on risk policies and practices, including emerging AI technologies and their implications.
Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with teams in both cryptocurrency exchange and asset management to ensure comprehensive risk oversight and explore AI applications in risk assessment.
Qualifications: Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Risk Management, Business Administration, Data Science, or a related field.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word).
Familiarity with Generative AI tools (e.g., Chat GPT, Claude, Gemini) or workflow automation tools.
