This would be in administrative areas such as order processing, customer quotes, sales information management, product training and marketing. What You Will DoEnsure a smooth customer onboarding processReview data requests from customers applying for new data licensesSet up customers in CRM systems and ensure timely billingReview and monitor clients’ monthly market data usages and ensure reporting is submitted timelyConsolidate and prepare briefing materials for client calls and meetings from the sales team, ensuring briefing materials are provided in a timely fashion and according to quality standardsConsolidate customer feedback to enhancing or adjusting product offeringPerform analyses of assigned accounts including identifying trends to assist the sales teamResearch competitive market data offerings including descriptions, policies, pricing, customer targets, etc.Coordinate and plan all aspects of trade shows, customer and internal eventsSupport the sales team by taking notes during calls, summarizing customer issues, providing phone support and responding to basic customer inquiriesTrack the team’s sales efforts (calls, meetings, events) through use of CRM and other sales applicationsAssist in identifying and assessing product opportunities based on conducting detailed analysis and researchWork with a wide range of clients including Market Data vendors, broker dealers, sell-side, buy-side, financial media outlets, websites, and FinTech firmsProactively take on new initiatives and exhibit a curiosity for learningWhat We ExpectBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing/Sales or other relevant courses3-5 years of experience in sales support or market data administration and analysisA keen eye for detail and a good problem solver with great interpersonal skillsStrong listener and a self-starterExcellent communication skills and the ability to think outside of the boxThe initiative to learn and be comfortable working with minimum supervisionProficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English, both verbal and writtenGood understanding of the financial industry including trading, market data, exchanges, and technologyIntermediate proficiency in SalesforceFlexibility to take meetings outside of regular business hours and to come to the office 4-5 days/weekWhat Would Be HelpfulPrevious experience in a similar role from a market data vendor, exchange or financial services firm Does It Sound Like You?
