The Senior Account Manager Asia Pacific-Messaging responsibilities include: Manage and build profitability with active messaging customers/suppliers in order to meet company’s targets. Actively work on new business development. Develop innovative and creative SMS trading strategies in order to secure USP and sustainable revenue streams. Handle deadlines, understand and manage contracts. Create and maintain valuable wholesale traffic swap deals. Evaluate and price new deals. Buy best-in-class termination rates in the fields of SMS. Identify, verify and use SS7 and SMPP routes. Negotiate SMS service contracts and SLAs working closely with legal. Act as the point of contact between the customer and Raza Engage for all the sales cycle. Work closely with Routing, Finance, and Technical departments to enable smooth business operations. Provide support to other departments on different aspects such as business and financial matters. Monitor performance of customers with respect to quality and costs, to meet company’s targets and objectives. Your Experience: University degree in business, marketing, economics, or similar domains.5 years+ of proven Telecom Wholesale experience in Messaging: Exchanging traffic between carriers, finding opportunities, creating swap deals for revenue and margin. Wide industry network and expertise to identify valuable SMS partners. Experience on Horisen SMS platform preferred but not mandatory. In-depth knowledge of the A2 P SMS market including SS7 understanding and utilization, market rates, market conduct, and procedures. Great communication skills, communicates effectively at every level. Excellent analytical skills and excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel. Solid grasp of English, both written and oral. Familiar with finance and accounting procedures. Team player, target-driven, self-motivated and works well under pressure. Hands-on, passionate, proactive, persistent, creative, and gets things done.
