Risk Management Group (RMG) is responsible for the development and maintenance of risk management and internal control frameworks.
We provide independent review and challenge to business to ensure that appropriate balance is considered in risk/return decisions.
In addition, RMG is responsible for the monitoring and reporting on key risk issues of the Bank.
To manage risk effectively and deliver strong financial performance, we invest significantly in our people and infrastructure.
Responsibilities • Support update of local operational risk policies, guidelines, processes, and procedures.
• Support the preparing, reviewing, and submitting risk papers for Risk Committees, including those for Board Risk Management Meeting and Group Operational Risk Committee.
• Perform various team administrative tasks such as Business Continuity Coordinator, meeting logistics and support Head of Operational Risk where required.
• Support preparation of reporting submissions where required.
• Use data insights within reporting and overseeing data reports for risk management purposes.
• Support reporting to internal and external audits and other reporting on Operational Risk Management matters as and when required.
• Support preparation and consolidation of regulatory responses • Perform data validation and follow up where required.
• Support preparation of training on operational risk across the Bank, including logistics of training delivery.
• Promote positive risk culture and risk awareness across the Bank.
Requirements • Minimum 5 years of working experience in a financial institution with at least 3 years working in supporting roles within operational risk/ enterprise risk / internal control or business risk management • Degree holder (or equivalent) in Finance or business-related discipline • Strong ability to analyze large amount of data pertaining to risks and controls and provide insights to assist risk management decisioning.
• Must be able to work independently, attention to detail and able to work under pressure • Strong team player • Strong in excel, Power Point or other tools to help prepare OR profiles and presentation • Good communication and influencing skills • Experience in using Power BI, Tableau or other data analysis tools would be advantage.
