Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior or management compliance role.
- Rock solid understanding of AML / CTF within the financial services industry.

- Depth knowledge of the industry's standards and regulations.
- Excellent knowledge of reporting procedures and record keeping.
- Business acumen with a bias towards technology.

- Excellent communication skills.
- Bachelor degree in a legal or problem solving discipline
- Credit assessment capability would be a plus

**Responsibilities**:
- Develop & oversee control systems to prevent or deal with violations of legal guidelines and internal policies.
- Evaluate the efficiency of controls and improve them continuously.
- Revise procedures, reports etc. Eriodically to identify hidden risks or non
- Conformity issues.
- Draft, improve & implement company policies.
- Collaborate with Finance, Tech and HR departments to monitor enforcement and continually work to stream line and automate related processes.
- Assess the business's future ventures to identify possible compliance risks.
- Review the work of colleagues, when necessary, to identify compliance issues and provide advice or training.
- Keep abreast of regulatory developments within or outside of the company as well as evolving best practices in compliance control.
- Prepare reports for senior management and external regulatory bodies as appropriate.
- Credit and counterparty risk assessment capability.
- Maintain, implement and continuously update our effective legal compliance programs.
- Create sound internal controls and monitor adherence to them.
- Draft and update company policies.
- Proactively audit processes, practices and documents to identify weaknesses.
- Evaluate business activities (eg investments) to assess compliance risk.
- Collaborate with external auditors and HR when needed.
- Set plans to manage a crisis or compliance violation.
- Educate and train employees on regulations and industry practices.
