Senior Manager/Manager, Technology and Operational Risk Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive operational risk management framework, including Third-Party Risk Management for the bank. Assess the effectiveness of existing controls and provide improvement recommendations in alignment with relevant HKMA Supervisory Policy Manual guidelines. Identify and evaluate new and emerging operational risks within the bank, implementing appropriate mitigation actions where necessary. Design and conduct risk assessments, scenario analysis, and scenario testing exercises to quantify potential impacts on the bank's operational environment. Perform regular reviews of operational risk management practices and training to ensure continuous improvement and effectiveness. Requirement: Bachelor's degree, preferably in Information Technology, Finance, Risk Management, or a related discipline. A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the financial sector or consultancy, focusing on operational risk management. Having an Associated Operational Risk Management Professional (AORP) or Certified Operational Risk Management Professional (CORP) certification is an advantage. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Manager. Practical experience and knowledge of risk management frameworks and methodologies. Familiarity with control frameworks such as SA-2, TM-G-2, IC-1, OR-1, OR-2 published by the HKMA. Experienced with IT control or assurance background would be a plus. Strong understanding of risk assessment methodologies, industry best practices, and emerging trends in risk management. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
