My client is a world-leading insurance group specializing in life and medical insurance, general insurance, employee benefits, and innovative financial products, with a focus on delivering customer-centric, digitally enabled solutions across Asia.
They are dedicated to innovation and operational excellence, hence seeking a Senior Business Analyst/ Project Analyst, Finance Transformation to join their dynamic finance team and drive initiatives that enhance financial processes and systems.
You will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and optimizing finance-related processes, systems, and strategies.
This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of financial operations, accounting/ finance process and expertise in managing change.
Key Responsibilities Analyze current financial processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
Lead or support the deployment of financial systems to streamline operations and improve reporting capabilities.
Develop and maintain advanced financial models, dashboards, and reports to deliver actionable insights for decision-making.
Oversee finance transformation projects, defining scope, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Prepare presentation decks for management and project stakeholders on project status updates.
Ensure transformation initiatives comply with regulatory requirements and internal controls, minimizing financial and operational risks.
Collaborate with finance, IT, and business teams to align transformation initiatives with strategic priorities and operational needs.
Document meeting minutes, capturing key highlights, action plans, and timelines.
Monitor and assess the impact of transformation initiatives, identifying opportunities for further optimization.
Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure project deliverables meet requirements.
Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Information System a related field.
CPA or similar certifications are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, business analysis, or process improvement roles.
Demonstrated success in finance transformation, system implementations (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite), or process re-engineering.
Experience with project management methodologies, such as Agile or PMP, is a plus.
Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and visualization tools, including Excel, Power BI, or Tableau.
Familiarity with ERP systems and financial software, such as SAP, Oracle, or Net Suite.
Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and engage stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
