Your new company A top-tier insurer is looking for a general insurance risk professional for the Hong Kong Office. Your new role Assist in updating and implementing the Group's Risk Management Standards, policies, and frameworks, adapting them to local office needs. Assist the other internal functions with all General Insurance (GI) risk-related matters. Provide technical support for independent reserving reviews, regulatory reporting, reinsurance strategy validation, and emerging risk identification. Manage the Risk Appetite Framework, including setting annual limits and quarterly risk assessments for GI-related risks. Foster a strong risk culture through open discussions, independent reviews, and proactive risk management, ensuring risks are identified and managed effectively. What you'll need to succeed Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the general insurance industry in the area of actuarial, underwriting, or risk management. Qualified/partially qualified as a Fellow General Insurance Actuary from any major actuarial institutional body. Strong communication and presentation skills in both English and Cantonese. Strong stakeholder management skills to work closely with business in advising on GI risk matters and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with business partners to achieve a best practice outcome.
