Senior Technical Account Manager, Funds Data – Hong Kong Bloomberg’s Data team delivers the highest quality data and analytics to customers around the world. This role focuses on ensuring the accuracy, completeness and timeliness of mutual fund and ETP data while building strong relationships with fund houses, custodians, administrators and third‑party content partners. The Senior Technical Account Manager is a trusted partner who develops subject‑matter expertise, implements technology solutions and drives continuous improvement in our data products. Location Hong Kong Responsibilities Manage high‑priority accounts and deliver outstanding support to content partners facilitating the distribution of fund data. Build and strengthen relationships with fund houses, custodians, administrators, exchanges and third‑party partners to set up sustainable data pipelines and educate them on best data dissemination practices. Lead technology initiatives to improve coverage, completeness, timeliness and accuracy for mutual fund and ETP data facets including pricing, dividends, reference data, corporate actions, documents and regulatory data. Prioritize and manage multiple partner projects to improve efficiency and return on investment while anticipating partner needs. Partner with internal Content Relationship Managers to understand partner themes and challenges and develop long‑term solutions. Own opportunities to enhance data products, acquire new content or improve the customer experience. Proactively manage campaigns to maintain the quality and reliability of contributed content and support colleagues with campaigns to ensure high standards across the team. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant data, technology or financial field (or equivalent professional experience). Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in management, data or analytics. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong relationship‑management skills with proven experience building and nurturing partner relationships. Technical proficiency in data workflows and query languages (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel). Effective project management skills with the ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast‑paced environment. Analytical mindset to isolate issues, resolve problems logically and develop long‑term solutions. Adaptability to work in dynamic, multidisciplinary teams and drive continuous improvement. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree or professional certification such as CFA or CAIA. Experience in customer service or client relationship management in an international business setting. Knowledge of information technology, statistical analysis or programming (e.g., SQL, Python, Excel).
