Responsibility: Handle data management and operation activities as BAU or assigned projects in data platforms, including data injection, data masking, data authorization, data aggregation, data labelling, troubleshooting and user supports Liaise with end users and IT teams from senior to working levels to serve, evaluate, prioritize, devise, handshake and track progress on end-to-end data requests Provide analysis, recommendations and solutions on new data initiatives, tackle pain points or meet new initiatives in data enablement, data analysis or data delivery areas Hold periodic meetings to discuss, summarize and report progress, issues, enhancements and follow-up actions related to data platforms Conduct periodic review, analysis, alignment and enrichments in data related policies, procedures, guidelines, models, standards, etc.
Participate in requirement definition, design review, UAT, rollout and support activities in primarily owned or supported systems Handle administrative and management tasks for data teams and platforms, including metrics, reports, audits, trainings, demonstrations, announcements, license renewals and administrative tasks, etc.
Provide guidance, mentorship and knowledge transfer to junior teammates and cross functional teams Requirements: Degree holder in Information Technology, Operation or related disciplines At least 5 years in BAU or operational management in handling data requests, data security and access control, data management procedures establishment, review and enrichments Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills with different parties including end users, cross functional teams and managements from various business and technical units Ability to analyze requests, address issues, summarize findings, devise proper solutions, present implementation plans and oversee executions in data platforms Ability to work independently and under pressure, resolve conflicts, mentoring teammates and complete assigned tasks within schedule Working experiences in requirement analysis, design review, UAT and rollout of sizable data platforms Willingness in handling strategic projects or ad-hoc tasks in data domains Desirable to have working experience in financial industries or large corporations with well-established data policies, governance, management, standards, guidelines and procedures Advantage with knowledge and experience in data projects including data injection, data cleansing, data analytics, data visualization, big data and data tools Bonus for knowledge or experience in SQL, VBA & Python Good command in spoken and written Cantonese and English, proficiency in Mandarin is desired
