SVP, Macro Flow Sales, Global Markets Asia2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Talent & Culture, Asia Corporate & Investment Banking at BBVAJob Purpose & Objectives As a member of the Macro Flow Sales team, you will be responsible for client servicing and trade execution across Macro flow products (Repo/Securities Financing, Rates, FX) within BBVA, focusing on institutional clients based on your experience and existing portfolio. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with trading, structuring, and research teams globally to provide client coverage, trade ideas, and market insights. Manage the end-to-end trade process from order intake to booking and post-trade support. Develop and deepen client relationships, expanding existing accounts and acquiring new clients. Understand market drivers and identify product opportunities. Produce daily market commentary for BBVA’s APAC clients. Cover products including Repo/SFTs, Rates, FX, and potentially some Credit-focused accounts. Qualifications & Experience University degree, preferably in a numerical or engineering field.7-10 years’ experience in Macro or FX Sales with institutional clients; more senior candidates considered for ED roles. Knowledge of Fixed Income/FX markets flow. Existing relationships in specific client segments and geographies (SG, HK, Korea, China, Taiwan). HKMA Type 1 license and TMA membership (ATMP, CTMP, CSTMP). Knowledge & Skills Proficiency with Bloomberg, Reuters FXT/Eikon, FXall, etc. Strong skills in Microsoft Office or Google Suite. Ability to analyze large data sets and extract insights. Understanding of derivatives and securities financing documentation; negotiation experience is a plus. Fluent in English, Cantonese, Mandarin; additional languages like Korean or Japanese are advantageous. Other Skills Self-motivated with minimal supervision. Strong client engagement and communication skills. Responsible, compliant, and collaborative within a matrix structure involving teams in Madrid, London, New York, and Latin America.
