My client, a leading Hong Kong-based hedge fund, is seeking a skilled Web Developer to join their small, flat-structure team. In this role, you will work closely with front-office users to design and develop a suite of React-based front-end applications that drive decision-making and innovation. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain dynamic, high-performance front-end applications using React. Collaborate with backend developers to integrate Python-based APIs, ideally using Fast API. Work closely with end-users to understand their needs and deliver intuitive, user-friendly interfaces. Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability. Contribute to the full software development lifecycle, from concept to deployment. Key Skills & Experience: Strong proficiency in React for building modern, responsive UIs. Solid experience with Python for backend development, ideally with Fast API or similar frameworks. Familiarity with financial systems or working in a front-office environment is a plus. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently in a small, agile team. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
