About the role We are hiring for a prominent global financial institution for a Finance Director position.
You will be assisting the APAC Head of Finance with managing a team and oversee the whole of the finance operations.
Summary of the role and key responsibilities Manage financial operations and enhance the financial processes as needed.
Assist with special projects as assigned by upper management.
Work with business teams to promote changes and initiatives.
Manage budget, perform financial data analysis, assess risks, recognize trends Create and update financial models for decision-making and scenario planning.
Contribute to the KPI process and conduct year-end compensation assessments.
Collaborate with group finance teams on long-term financial forecasts, system implementations, and process enhancements.
Foster a continuous improvement culture, support team development, and encourage collaboration.
Requirements Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.15+ years experience in finance, with a strong background in either sell side or buy side Experience in a Finance Director position is a strong advantage Proven track record of financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills, with proficiency in Excel and financial software.
Experience in managing financial operations and leading finance teams.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
