About the Job
We are looking for a detail‑oriented and execution‑driven People Operations Specialist.
Responsibilities
Payroll & Compliance (Hong Kong)
Manage end‑to‑end payroll processes for Hong Kong.
Oversee monthly payroll, statutory deductions, off‑cycle payments.
Maintain payroll data with HK and TW statutory requirements.
Administer statutory filings – MPF, IRD, Employment Ordinance; and optionally Taiwan requirements.
Process final payments for resigning employees, including tax clearance.
Respond to payroll and tax queries with SLA.
Employee Lifecycle Support
Maintain accurate employee records in Workday.
Process work pass applications, renewals, cancellations.
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes.
Assist in probation review, contract amendments, internal transfers.
Ensure statutory filings, support audits, and data consolidation for performance reviews.
Office and Facilities Management (Hong Kong & Taiwan)
Manage day‑to‑day office needs and liaise with building management.
Support internal events and office activities.
Benefits & Insurance Support
Assist employees with enrollment, changes, and claims.
Maintain records of benefit eligibility and liaise with brokers.
Monitor benefit usage and support periodic reviews.
HR Systems & Data Management
Maintain accurate employee data in Workday.
Improve data accuracy, reduce manual trackers.
Support audits, compliance checks, and reporting.
Identify system gaps and drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications
5–8 years of HR operations or payroll experience, ideally regional or cross‑border.
Solid knowledge of HK tax and statutory filings; TW payroll (good to have).
Proficiency in Gsuite, Excel (formulas, pivot tables).
Hands‑on HRIS experience (Workday preferred) and spreadsheet tools.
Strong attention to detail, mult‑tasking, excellent communication skills.
Proactive, service‑oriented mindset with continuous improvement focus.
