Job Qualification
Higher Diploma or above of the following subjects: CGI / Digital Visualization Design, 3 D Animation Design, Multi-Media design, or related discipline
3 years working experience in professional design setting, planetarium show production is a plus
Experience in museum and exhibition design is an advantage;
Proficient in the latest version of 3 D software such as Maya, 3 D Studio MAX, V-Ray plugin, After Effects, Unity, Sketch Up, Blender and have good rendering / visual simulation skills, produce 3-dimensional drawings including floorplan, elevation and detailed drawings;
Proficient in the latest version of other design applications such as Adobe CC Illustrator, Photoshop and In Design.
Experience in desktop publishing and printing / output production;
Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
Job Responsibilities
The Designer is required to provide design support service at the Design Unit in the following areas: 3 D exhibition and interactive exhibit design;
3 D animation scene creation: Dynamic motion graphics production for planetarium shows and exhibit multi-media contents;
3 D production: Model making and 3 D Dome Master scene setting for multi-media displays and planetarium shows contents development;
To assist in the creation and finalization of designs and to produce artworks related to publications and advertisements.
To follow-up production schedule independently and liaise with contractors with regard to quotations, project specifications, quality control and delivery.
