This is a leadership role accountable for development, execution and maintenance of category procurement strategies and performance management of team members and process efficiency and compliance within the area of responsibility. You will be responsible for overseeing and managing procurement activities from end-to-end market engagement, supplier due-diligence, competitive bidding, tender/contract negotiation and award and management of supplier relationships and optimization of spends for assigned categories e.g. IT, Professional Services, Corporate Supplies and/or Technical & Works. Overseeing and managing strategic sourcing projects and group procurement initiatives across the organisation is a key element of the role. Ability to drive synergy and efficiency and ensuring delivery of sustainable saves and value and quality compliance.  You will have a passion for building strong relationships. Working closely with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate level of influence over procurement activities to operations. Communicating to senior management on status, risks and process changes and propelling execution. The successful candidate will have to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in HK and subsidiaries in Greater China to ensure appropriate level of influence over procurement activities to operations. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required in Business or similar with relevant procurement experience is required.Chartered member of CIPS, Project Management or similar professional qualification is an added advantage.Minimum of 10 to 15 years’ relevant experience at a sizable organization with over 8 years management experience.Exposure in leading diverse procurement projects with distributed teams or procurement team in Mainland China is beneficial.Experience in process re-engineering and corporate governance and e-Procurement management is beneficial.Strong knowledge of procurement principles, practices, and regulations.Excellent negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin).Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
