About Your Company King Deux is partnering with an asset manager with over 100 B RMB AUM and is looking to expand their presence in Hong Kong. With their new fund launch coming up this year, we are expanding our Hong Kong office and looking for exquisite investment analyst in AI / Robotics / TMT domain. Ideal candidates will come with academic background in Engineering and a deep dive understanding in the technology realm. About your role Perform extensive research on emerging trends, advanced technologies, and important developments within the global Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) landscape, focusing on embodied AI, robotics, and automation. This includes key advancements in both upstream (hardware, such as semiconductors, actuators, and structural components) and downstream (software, algorithm providers, system integrators, services) areas of the robotics value chain. Analyze company valuations through a comprehensive review of financial statements, market dynamics, competitive positioning, and growth drivers for robotics companies in both global and emerging markets. Oversee and coordinate due diligence processes by examining the operational, legal, and financial aspects of potential investments. Create detailed financial models to project revenue, cash flows, and investment returns for target companies in the robotics sector, accounting for the complex interactions between hardware, software, and service-based business models. Generate high-quality research reports, investment memos, and presentations to assist in making strategic investment decisions. Track the performance of portfolio companies by monitoring key operational and financial metrics. Work collaboratively with investment and research teams across various regions to explore opportunities in public and private markets globally, especially in AI, robotics, automation, and related technologies. What you will need to succeed Master’s degree or above, with a strong preference for candidates with a combined background in engineering (e.g., electrical, automation, mechanical), computer science, and finance/economics. A deep understanding of the technical side of robotics hardware and software investments is essential; Minimum 5 years of experience in asset management, private equity, venture capital, or corporate development, with a track record in TMT sectors, particularly in AI-related software, robotics systems, automation solutions, and components of robotics, and experience with dollar funds or having connections in overseas institutional investors and the venture capital community are strong advantages; Extensive experience in public and private equity investments in global TMT industries, with a sharp acumen in advanced technologies, robotics innovation, and the integration of hardware and software solutions; How to Apply Interested parties, please send your CV directly to y@kingdeux.com or apply directly.
