IT Support - Private Investment company Company Overview: Our client, a well‑established private investment company, is seeking an experienced and hands‑on IT support to oversee all technology operations for their Hong Kong office.
This is a key role within a lean and professional environment, offering full ownership of IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and day‑to‑day technical support across the firm.
Responsibilities:.
Support all IT operations for the Hong Kong office, ensuring secure and reliable performance across systems, networks, servers, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud platforms.
Manage external vendors and technology projects, covering procurement, contract management, system upgrades, cloud migration, and new tool implementation.
Act as the primary IT support contact, providing timely technical assistance, user training, and hands‑on support to staff and senior management.
Maintain core applications and collaboration tools, ensuring alignment with global/regional IT policies and overall infrastructure standards.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
Minimum 4+ years of experience in IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure management, ideally within a financial services, investment firm, or family office environment.
Strong technical knowledge in networking, cloud platforms (e.g., Microsoft 365 / Azure), cybersecurity controls, and endpoint management.
Hands on, independent, and proactive Excellent communication skills with the ability to support senior executives and manage external vendors effectively.
High level of integrity, reliability, and discretion.
