The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in Java (Spring Boot), cloud and frontend technologies, as well as a proven track record of working with enterprise-scale systems and delivering high-quality solutions. Key Responsibilities: Analyze user requirements alongside current system workflows and procedures. Conduct feasibility studies and evaluate systems, infrastructure, and database design, while assisting the supervisor in liaising with various stakeholders. Support the supervisor in preparing project documentation, managing schedules, and overseeing system releases, including production, incident, and cyber hygiene management in collaboration with relevant application teams. Perform code reviews and security testing, ensuring system documentation meets deadlines and complies with work procedures. Implement technology solutions that align with user requirements and the company’s strategic objectives. Lead an offshore development team in developing and supporting highly scalable, high-performance digital solutions. Drive Agile development in the cloud using Dev Ops practices and the latest technologies. Ensure the smooth operation of application systems while providing technical support and troubleshooting for end users. Analyze technical issues to develop cost-effective solutions and conduct research on new IT technologies, preparing comprehensive reports and recommendations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. At least 8 years of experience in leading application development projects, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry. Experience in automation testing and performance testing is a significant advantage. Previous experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and a proven ability to effectively manage agile teams. Industry experience in banking, insurance, or other financial services is a significant advantage. Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese, with excellent communication skills.
