Perform detailed legal analysis and provide sound legal advice to various departments within the organization, helping them understand the implications of the law on their operations and projects. Handle legal disputes and litigation effectively, including negotiating settlements and representing the company in legal proceedings as required. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international laws, as well as adherence to Group and Regional Policies. Develop and implement compliance programs and conduct regular compliance audits. Provide legal support for strategic initiatives within the company, ensuring legal risks are identified and mitigated. Monitor and renew business licenses and handle insurance matters, including policy renewals and claims, to ensure continuous protection and compliance. Perform other related duties as required, supporting the broader objectives of the legal and compliance department. Work Experience / Qualifications: LLB Degree/International Master of Laws (LLM) or international education - preferred. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience managing local stakeholders and government authorities. Knowledge of Hong Kong laws and compliance. Preferably in-house in a multinational and/or publicly listed company or law firm. Familiarity with the following laws preferred: contract & company law, data protection, and employment law. Fluent in English & Cantonese is a must. Experience in a top international or local law firm.
