This role offers high‑level exposure, reporting directly to senior management on the evolution of the firm’s global presence.
Responsibilities
Facilitate international growth by drafting complex documentation, reviewing multi‑jurisdictional service agreements, and overseeing the work of external global counsel.
Act as a key representative in meetings with overseas regulators and provide legal oversight within internal committees to ensure global compliance.
Conduct deep‑dive research into the legal frameworks of new target markets and produce comprehensive reports for both internal leadership and external regulatory bodies.
Required Skills & Experience
Hold a legal qualification from a common law jurisdiction with a minimum of 5 years of post‑qualification experience.
Exceptional command of both English and Mandarin is essential for navigating the firm's dual‑market focus.
Proven ability to work independently on ad‑hoc global projects, backed by strong problem‑solving skills and a background in international legal environments.
