About the role Our Intact Lab in Hong Kong is looking for a Data Science Manager! Are you a leader passionate about delivering real business impact with AI solutions? Do you stay current with the latest trends in data science development and jump at the chance to experiment with new tools/algorithms? We have the perfect opportunity for you! What you'll do here: Manage a team with a mission to set up for success, coordinate efforts and ensure smooth implementation of AI solutions to support the company’s strategic objectives Help to build the industry’s best data science team by keeping our specialists motivated to deliver innovative AI solutions that contribute direct business impact, while helping them grow their careers. Identify business opportunities and develop use cases to operationalize AI solutions to improve operational efficiencies, customer’s experience, seller’s experience, loss prevention, profitability, etc. Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to develop our AI vision, identify and prioritize AI use cases and implement solutions. What you bring to the table: Bachelors in computer science, data science or any combination of equivalent education and experience Minimum of five years’ professional experience in an analytical and innovative environment, including at least two years in management, consulting, or coaching Data science enthusiasts with a background in a related field, including (but not limited to): Machine learning, Computer science, Software engineering, Physics, Actuarial science, Mathematics, Statistics Understanding of machine learning theory, the predictive modeling lifecycle and software development Previous experience in insurance is an asset Strong communication skills, critical thinking, business acumen, project management and work organization skills.
