Manager, Financial Reporting and Control Manager, Financial Reporting and Control1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicants Direct message the job poster from CTF Life Human Resources Business Partner at CTF Life What the role is?In this role, you are a key member of Financial Reporting Team with primary focus on finance system implementation, month-end closing, analytics, and liaise with all relevant stakeholders to ensure all deliverables. Act as a user representative of Financial Control functions on various kinds of finance system changes and enhancement for the new overseas operations including but not limited to system implementation, UAT, maintenance; Participate in monthly IFRS 17 reporting and financial analysis, closing activities such as including the review of closing journals and data reconciliations, ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards, with active communication with the Actuarial Department on financial result reviews; Support Group financial reporting and regulatory submission, including requirements from the Insurance Authority (IA), Bermuda Monetary Authority (BMA), and other relevant regulatory bodies; Prepare financial statements and liaise with external auditors; Coach junior team members on reporting and system-related matters; and Handle ad-hoc requests when necessary. What we look for?At least 8 years’ big 4 audit or Accounting & Finance experience gained at insurance sector. Experienced in insurance transformation role is a plus; Degree in Finance or Accounting; HKICPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualifications; Knowledge and understanding on IFRS17/ HKFRS 17; Strong system knowledge especially for Insurance related systems (i.e. Policy Admin System), and knowledge in end-to-end process workflow; Team player, independent, detail minded, responsible and problem solver; Good command in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua; MS-Project, MS Excel, and general MS-Office skills.
