Manager, Logistics and Origin Operations  (27865 ) Job Overview: This role supports the international shipping from manufacturer origins to Esprit locations worldwide including Europe, US and Hong Kong. The goal is to ensure shipment book to depart and handover at origins on schedule and arrive at destination on time for our business needs. The role shall coordinate with destination logistics teams to ensure efficient and seamless end-to-end inbound supply chain. Responsibilities: Manage daily ocean, air and parcel shipment operations from all manufacturing origins to all Esprit global destinations Familiarize with order and shipment management systems to support reporting and communications Manage supplier performance and ensure achievement of on-time and service targets Understand production schedules and plan/ forecast logistics capacity accordingly Communicate with destination logistics partners to ensure seamless inbound process Create and maintain logistics SOPs Support vendors in achieving logistics process compliances Support initiatives to achieve shipment efficiencies, cost effectiveness and process improvements Qualifications: 5+ years working experience within logistic operations in a multi-national company Understanding and practical knowledge of retail environment and international transportation, Ocean/ Air Freight operations and INCOTERMS Experience in working in/ managing Freight Forwarders in an international environment Excellent command of written and spoken English and Mandarin Able to self-lead.
