Job Description THE COMPANY : US company Brand owner, designer and manufacturer Main products : casual wear & denim wear; mens & ladies wear Main market : US, Europe & global We are looking for FASHION DESIGN COORDINATOR - with details as follows : The Job Work in Fashion Design team of 6-8 members Report to Fashion Design & Product Development Manager Collaborate with designers from head office in the US to develop concepts and source inspiration for design collections. Research and source fabrics, trims, and other materials, coordinating with suppliers to secure quality components. Stay updated on fashion trends, consumer preferences, and market demands to generate and determine design decisions. Monitor expenses related to design materials and samples to stay within budget constraints. Oversee the production of prototypes and samples, ensuring to meet design specifications and timelines. Maintain design records, including sketches, tech packs, and specifications, ensuring accuracy and accessibility. Act as a contact point between design, development and production teams to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to deadlines and deliveries.4+ years relevant experience in apparel development. Fashion design studies or related background. Familiarity with the apparel development process, from concept to production, is highly valued. Good communication skills for coordinating with designers, suppliers, and production teams. Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines. Proficiency in design software - Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop.
