Head of IT & Digital Transformation will oversee the Global IT operations and digital initiatives, ensuring the seamless integration of technology with business processes to achieve organizational goals. The incumbent will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of the company’s IT and digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals, and driving digital transformation across the organization. Responsibilities: Technology Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy that aligns with the business objectives. Optimize IT operations and digital ecosystems to enhance user experience and operational efficiency. Digital Transformation & Innovation: Drive the adoption of cloud technologies, artificial intelligence, and other emerging technologies, ensuring the smooth functioning of systems within the organization. Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing IT team, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and accountability. Infrastructure Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and security of systems and applications. Project Management: Manage and drive IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets while meeting operational requirements. Vendor Management: Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with technology vendors and service providers, negotiate contracts to optimize service quality and cost-effectiveness. Data Security: Implement and uphold robust cybersecurity measures and data protection protocols to safeguard sensitive company and client information. Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring effective resource allocation to support business needs and strategic initiatives. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify technological needs and deliver solutions that enhance operational efficiency. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards, particularly regarding data management and security. Requirements: Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline. Professional qualifications in project management such as PMP or PRINCE2 preferred. Minimum of 15+ years of progressive experience in IT leadership roles with significant experience in digital transformation. Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of current and emerging digital technologies and trends. In-depth knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity practices. Ideal candidate should possess: Proven track record of managing diverse teams across multiple geographic locations. Demonstrated ability to lead large-scale IT projects, familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum), and digital initiatives. Highly motivated, self-driven, and result-oriented individual. Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent analytical skills and ability to think both strategically and laterally. Able to work in a multitask environment. Proactive and autonomous with the flexibility to adapt to ever-changing priorities and responsibilities. Strong business acumen with an ability to link business strategy to people’s practices; ability to apply critical analysis and judgment when reviewing activities.
